Cinema Exhibitors Association Card.
This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema. To apply for the card, you will need to meet one or more of the following criteria: a) Be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance. b) Be a registered blind person. The card is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Application forms are available from cinemas across the UK supporting this card. Alternatively, Go to www.ceacard.co.uk

Your help needed
I am starting to produce a series of Town Guides. I would like your help in producing them, what I would like is a Disabled persons guide to your town, written by us for people like us. I would like to be able to have a guide for all the major towns on the Island available in pdf format downloadable from this site. Let me know what you think. Geoff

Charity Concert - In aid of Polio eradication
Wednesday 18th October, All Saints Ryde.7:30pm Tickets £5 Entertainment for the evening includes; Organ, Barbershop, Showtime, Harp and Jazz. The aim is to raise £1500 for Rotary International in their efforts in eradicating Polio in the third world.

Vehicle conversions
I have had a devil of a job to get anyone on the Island to fit hand controls to my car. Surley there is a somebody that can provide this service without having to spend a fortune traveling across the Solent. If you have any experience of this please let me know.
